Here's a few pictures I have so far.

This looked so promising, I pulled over and shot it from inside the car. A snow storm was sweeping down the mountainside. Tragically, I was at the end of the roll and a snow storm does now photograph at all well.

This one came out a little better. Clear by me, but snowing heavily on the mountain.
Maybe Ansel Adams can photograph a snow storm sweeping down a mountain, but for mere mortals a snow storm turns out to look like specks of overexposed film all over the shot.

View from the top of a hill with some nice mountains ... later I became blase about mountains, but at the time it was breathtaking.

Here's a frozen waterfall ... very pretty and the blue is amazing.

This waterfall is just in the back of someguy's yard in East Fairfield ... I was briefly jelous and thought I should have gotten a house with my own waterfall, or at least a stream.

Here's my house! The boarded up window was knocked out by huge amounts of snow sliding off the roof ... when I first looked at the place, there was a pile of snow in this corner higher than my head. It was replaced with a nice double-pane pivoting type before I moved in. When I saw how nice the replacement was, I wished the house had had more windows knocked out.

Here's the front door (never used) and the bay window ... looking closely at the larger pictures, you can see the cool frosted glass work.

The back of my house ... on the right you can see where the snow had piled so high that it knocked down the chimney.
Trip to England -- Work trip, I was lucky Windsor Castle was within walking distance (just across the Thames), I got no time to be a tourist. I was in Eton, the home of the swankiest prepschool ever ... THE school for the royal family.

The castle's clock tower ... I understand it featured largely in the lives of young nobles, if the clock said you were late, there was no appeal.

Some nice stone work and your classic 'bobby' guarding the "Henry the Eighth Gate" and talking to all the tourists. Again, I didn't have time for the tour.

Statue of Queen Victoria ... is there something about distinct unattractiveness that goes with political power? I think you have to go back to Alexander the Great before you find someone attractive in a position of power.

Notice the where the steps are going? The Thames was running a bit high.

Geese swimming in a jogging path by the Thames.

Some kids were feeding the geese, I thought it would make a cute shot. Naturally, by the time I got around the river to this spot the kids were gone ... the geese had not made the connection of kids == food and were waiting for more food to drop onto the water.
